A = Miyuki 11° SEED bead, 65*
B = 6mm Crystals, I used cathedral beads, 1*
*Beads counts are per repeat (Unit), each Unit is about 1/2 inch.
Nymo D, C-Lon Thread or Fire line (4 or 6 pound), #11 or #12 beading needle
Start by
waxing and stretching your thread. Tie in a “stopper” bead, leaving about a
8-10” tail and begin at step #1.
1. Pick up 1B, 9A, go with thread up through the B bead and the 1st A bead just added in this step.
2. Pick up 3A, skip over 1A, go with thread through the 3rd A added in step #1.
3. Pick up 5A, skip over 3 A beads down, go with thread down through the 7th A added in step #1.
4. Pick up 3A, skip over 1 A bead down, go with thread up into the 9th A bead, the B bead and the 1st A bead added in step #1.
5. Pick up 7A, go with thread up through the 9th A bead added in step #1. Following blue line in drawing continue up through the B bead and the 1st A bead added in step #1.
6. Pick up 3A, go with thread down through the 2nd A bead added in step #5.
7. Pick up 5A, go with thread down through the 6th A bead added in step #5.
8. Pick up 3A, go with thread up through the 9th A bead, the B bead and the 1st A bead added in step #1 and the 1st and 2nd A beads added in step #2
9. Pick up 4A, go with thread through the 2nd and 1st A beads added in step #6, the 1st and 2nd A beads added in step #2 and the first 2 A beads added in this step.
10. Pick up 1A, then following blue line in drawing go with thread through the 2nd and 1st A beads added in step #6, down through 2 A, 1 B and 3 A beads, coming out at the 2nd A bead added in step #8.
11. Pick up 4A, go with thread, from right to left, through the 2nd and 3rd A beads added in step #8, the 2nd and 3rd A beads added in step #4 and the 1st and 2nd A beads just added in this step.
12. Pick up 1A, go with thread through the 2nd and 3rd A beads added in step #8, 7th and 6th A beads added in step #5 and the 5th, 4th and 3rd A beads added in step #7.
13. Pick up 5A, 1B, 6A, go with thread forward through the 3rd, 4th and 5th A beads (of the 5A), the B bead and the 1st A bead (of the 6A), just added in this step..
14. Pick up 3A, go with thread down through the 3rd A bead (of the 6A) added in step #13.
15. Pick up 2A, go with thread down through the 3rd, 4th and 5th A beads added in step #7.
16. a) Pick up 5A, go with thread up through 2nd and 1st A beads added in step #13 and the 3rd, 2nd and 1st A beads added in step #7.
b) Pick up 5A, go with thread down through the 2 A beads added in step #15, the 3rd A bead added in step #7 and the 1st, 2nd and 3rd A beads (of the 5A) added in step #13.
17. Pick up 3A, go with thread up through the 5th A bead (of the 5A), the B bead and the 1st A bead (of the 6A) added in step #13.
18. Pick up 7A, go with thread up through the 5th A bead, step #13, the B bead and the 1st A bead (of the 6A), step #13.
19. a) Pick up 3A, go with thread down through the 2nd A bead, step #8.
b) Pick up 5A, go with thread down through the 6th A bead, step #8.
c) Pick up 5A, go with thread up through the 5th A bead, step #13, the B bead, the 1st A bead (of the 6A), step #13 and the 1st and 2nd A beads, step #14..
20. Repeat steps #9, #10, #11 and #12 in the same manner. use blue line in drawing for guide.
21. Continue bracelet by repeating steps #13 through #20 until you reach the length that you want.
22. To add clasp, pick up 3A, clasp, 3A, go with thread down through 1 bead in bracelet. Continue with working thread around through the clasp beads several times. Weave the working thread into the bracelet and end. Repeat the clasp directions in the same manner on the other end after removing the stopper bead.
