Square in Square Bracelet Pattern

Bead Store 
A = Miyuki 11/0 DELICA bead, #, 52* + 6 for one end  
B = Miyuki 11/0 DELICA bead, #, 18* + 4 for one end + 16 for clasps  
C = Miyuki 10/0 Triangle bead, #, 2* + 2 for one end
**Bead Counts are per Unit, Unit is approximately 1/2”

Nymo D, C-Lon Thread or Fire line (4 or 6 pound), #11 or #12 beading needle

Start by waxing and stretching your thread. Tie in a “stopper” bead, leaving about a 8-10” tail and begin at step #1. 

1. Pick up 3A, 1B, 2C, 1B, go with thread forward through the 3 A, 1 B and the 2 C beads just added in this step.

2. Pick up 1B, 3A, 1B, go with thread down through the 2 C beads, step #1, and forward through the 2nd B and 3 A beads just added in this step.

3. Pick up 1B, 8A, go with thread forward through the 1st and 2nd A beads just added in this step.

4. a) Pick up 1B, go with thread down through the 3rd and 4th A beads, step #3.
a) Pick up 1B, go with thread right to left through the 5th and 6th A beads, step #3.

5. Pick up 1B, go with thread up through the 7th and 8th A beads, and the 1 B bead, step #3.

6. Pick up 3A, go with thread left to right through the 1 B bead, step #4a.

7. Pick up 3A, go with thread right to left through the 1 B bead, step #4b.

8. Pick up 3A, go with thread right to left through the 1 B bead, step #5, and up through the 3 A beads, step #2 or step #20.

9. Pick up 3A, go with thread left to right through the 3 A beads, step #6.

10. Pick up 3B, go with thread left to right through the 3 A beads, step #6.

11. Pick up 3A, go with thread down through the 3 A beads, step #7.

12. Pick up 1B, 2C, 1B, go with thread down through the 3 A beads, step #7.

13. Pick up 3A, go with thread right to left through the 3 A beads, step #8.

14. Pick up 3B, go with thread right to left through the 3 A beads, step #8.

15. Pick up 3A, go with thread up through the 3 A beads, and right to left through the 1st B bead, step #2 or step #20. Continue down through the 2 C beads, step #1, and left to right through the 2nd B bead, step #2 or step #20.

16. Pick up 5A, go with thread left to right through the 3 B beads, step #14.

17. Pick up 5A, go with thread up through the 1 B, 3 A, and 1 B beads added in step #12.

18. Pick up 5A, go with thread right to left through the 3 B beads, step #10.

19. Pick up 5A, go with thread right to left through the 1 B bead, step #2. Continue and go with working thread by following the blue dotted line in illustration, coming out with thread up through the 2 C beads, step #12. 1 Unit made.

20. Pick up 1B, 3A, 1B, go with thread up through the 2 C beads, step #12, and forward through the 1st B and 3 A beads just added in this step. 

21. Repeat steps #3 through #15.

22. Pick up 3A, 2B, go with thread up through the 3rd, 4th and 5th A beads, step #17 or step #24a, in the previous Unit, and down through the 3 A beads just added in this step. 

23. Pick up 2A, go with thread left to right through the 3 B beads, step #14. 

24. a) Pick up 5A, go with thread up through the 1 B, 3 A, and 1 B beads added in step #12.
b) Pick up 5A, go with thread right to left through the 3 B beads, step #10.

25. Pick up 5A, go with thread up through the 1st, 2nd and 3rd A beads, step #18 or step #24b, in the previous Unit. 

26. Pick up 2B, go with thread down through the 3rd, 4th and 5th A beads, step #25. Continue and go with working thread by following the blue dotted line in illustration, coming out with thread up through the 2 C beads, step #12. 

27. Pick up 1A, 3B, 1A, go with thread up through the 2 C beads, step #12, and forward through the 1st B, and 3 A beads just added in this step.

28. Continue by repeating steps #21 through #27 until the bracelet is the length that you would like. 

29. To add clasp, pick up 4B, clasp, 4B, go with thread down through 3 A beads in bracelet. Continue with thread around through the clasp beads several times for strength. Weave the working thread into the bracelet and end. Repeat the clasp directions in the same manner at the other end of bracelet, after removing the stopper bead.
