Tassel Lace Ornament Pattern

A = Miyuki® 11/0 seed bead, #648, 525*
B = Miyuki® 11/0 seed bead, #1001, 325*
C = 4mm Fire-polished, Light Sapphire AB, 36*
D = 6mm Fire-polished, Light Sapphire AB, 18*

*Bead counts are approximate

R = Round,

Rounds start at the Red dot ●

Please Note: In the illustrations you will see spaces between the beads, this is because the illustrations are flat and the ornament is not. When bead weaving your ornament, do not leave spaces between your beads.

Round 1

Pick up 12A, go with thread forward through the 1st A bead just added in this step.

 


Round 2

a) Pick up 15B, go with thread forward through the A bead that the working thread is exiting, and 2 more A beads in R1.

b) Repeat (a), 5 more time around.

c) Continue with working thread forward through the 1st, 2nd and 3rd A beads added in the first repeat of (a) this R. 


 

Round 3

a) Pick up 1A, go with thread up through the 12th and 11th B beads, R2(a).

b) Pick up 1A, go with thread down through the 5th and 4th B beads in the same repeat, R2(a).

c) Repeat (a & b) around 5 more times.

d) Continue with working thread forward through the 1st A bead added in the first repeat of (a) this R. 


 

Round 4

a) Pick up 4A, go with thread right to left through the 8th B bead, R2(a).

b) Pick up 4A, go with thread right to left through the 1 A bead, R3(a).

c) Pick up 12A, go with thread forward through the 2nd, 3rd and 4th A beads added in this Round at (b), the 1 A bead, R3(a), and the 1st, 2nd and 3rd A beads just added in this step.

d) Pick up 1A, go with thread right to left through the 8th B bead in the next repeat, R2(a).

e) Repeat (b, c & d) around 4 more times.

Repeat (b) 1 time. Continue forward with working thread through the 1st, 2nd and 3rd A beads added in this Round at (a).

f) Pick up 9A, go with thread forward through the 2nd, 3rd and 4th A beads added in the last repeat of (b), this Round, right to left through the 1 A bead, R3(a), and forward through the 4 A beads added in this Round at (a).


Round 5


a) Pick up 1B, go with thread forward through the 1st A bead, R4(b), and the 12th, 11th and 10th A beads, R4(c).

b) Pick up 1B, go with thread forward through the 6th, 5th and 4th A beads, R4(c), and the 1 A bead, R4(d).

c) Repeat (a & b) around 5 more times.

d) Continue with working thread forward through the 1 B bead added in the first repeat of (a), this Round.



Round 6

a) Pick up 4B, go with thread up through the 9th A bead, R4(c or f).

b) Pick up 1B, 1A, 1B, go with thread down through the 7th A bead, R4(c or f).

c) Pick up 4B, go with thread forward through the 1 A bead, R5(a), and up through the 4th and 3rd B beads just added in this step..

d) Pick up 2B, go with thread up through the 9th A bead, R4(d or a).

e) Repeat (b, c &d) around 4 more times. Repeat (b), 1 time.

f) Pick up 2B, go with thread down through the 2nd and 1st B beads added in this Round at (a), the 1 A bead, R4(a), up and forward through the 4 B beads, this R(a), forward through the 9th A bead, R4(c), and the 1st B and 1st A beads added in the first repeat of (b) this Round.



Round 7

a) Pick up 15A, go with thread right to left through the 1 B bead, R6(b), and forward through the 1st through 5th A beads just added in this step.

b) Pick up 5B, 5A, go with thread forward through the next 1 B bead, R6(b).

c) Pick up 10A, go with thread forward through the 5 A beads, this R at (b), the 1 B bead, R6(b) and the 1st through 5th A beads just added in this step.

d) Repeat (b & c) around 4 more times.

e) Pick up 5B, go with thread down through the 11th and 12th A beads added in (a), this R.



Round 8

a) Pick up 2B, go with thread up through the 4th and 5th A beads, R7(a or c) and forward through the 1st and 2nd A beads, R7(b or e).

b) Pick up 8B, 1C, 6B, 1C, 1D, 1B, go with thread up through the 1 D, 1 C, 6 B, 1 C and the 8th through 2nd B beads just added in this step.

c) Pick up 1B, go with thread forward through the 4th and 5th B beads, R7(b or e) and down through the 11th and 12th B beads, R7(c or a).

d) Repeat (a, b & c) around 5 more times.

e) Continue by following the purple dotted line in illustration through with working thread, coming out with thread left to right through the 8th A bead, R7(a).

 



Round 9

This Round is worked clockwise

a) Pick up 10A, 1C, 8A, 1C, 1D, 1A, go with thread up through the 1 D, 1 C, 8 A, 1 C and the 10th through 2nd A beads just added in this step.

b) Pick up 1A, go with thread down through the 10th and 11th A beads, R7(a or c), and the 5th A bead, R7(b).

c) Pick up 5A, go with thread up through the 5th and 6th A beads, R7(a or c).

d) Pick up 10A, 1C, 8A, 1C, 1D, 1A, go with thread up through the 1 D, 1 C, 8 A, 1 C, 9 A beads just added in this step.

e) Pick up 1A, go with thread down through the 8th A bead, R7(a or c).

d) Repeat (a, b, c, d & e) around 5 more times.

Christmas Lights Necklace Pattern

Light up your holidays with this beautiful string of lights. It can be made as a necklace and also a bracelet.

Bead Counts
A = Miyuki 11/0 SEED bead, #468, 55* 
                + 14 for one end + 12 for clasps 
B = Miyuki 11/0 SEED bead, #02, 30* 
                + 1 for one end 
C = Miyuki 11/0 SEED bead, #1425, 3* 
D = Miyuki 11/0 SEED bead, #25F, 1660, 1436, and 1425, 21* - I used 4 different colors for the bulbs, The illustrations only show 1 color.
**Bead Counts are per Unit, Unit is approximately 3/4"

Start by waxing and stretching your thread. Use Fireline, Nymo D or C-Lon and an #11 or #12 beading needle. Tie in a “stopper” bead, leaving about a 8-10” tail and begin at step #1. 
 

Row 1

1. Pick up 1B, 6A, go with thread up through the 1 B bead just added in this step.

 

2. Pick up 4B, go with thread down through the 5th A bead, step #1.

3. Pick up 4A, go with thread up through the 3rd A bead, step #2.

 

4. Pick up 2A, 1B, 1A, go with thread down through the 3rd A bead, step #4.

 

5. Pick up 8A, go with thread up through the 2nd A bead just added in this step.

 

6. Pick up 3A, go with thread up through the 1 B bead, step #4 or step #17.

 

7. Pick up 4A, go with thread down through the 2nd A bead, step #6.

 

8. Pick up 4A, go with thread down through the 6th A bead, step #5.


 9. Pick up 2B, 2D, 2B, 3A, go with thread up through the 2nd A bead, step #8.

10. Pick up 3A, go with thread up through the 3rd A bead, step #7.

11. Pick up 2A, 1B, 1A, go with thread down through the 2nd A bead, step #10.

 

12. Pick up 4A, go with thread down through the 1st A bead, step #9.

 

13. Pick up 3A, go with thread up through the 2nd A bead, step #12.  

 

14. Pick up 3A, go with thread up through the 1 B bead, step #11.  

 

15. Pick up 4A, go with thread down through the 2nd A bead, step #14.  

16. Pick up 4A, go with thread up through the 3rd A bead, step #15.

17. Pick up 2A, 1B, 1A, go with thread down through the 3rd A bead, step #16.

 

18. Continue Row 1 by repeating steps #5 though #17 until your necklace is the length that you want.

 

19. a) Pick up 4A, go with thread up through the 1 B and the 2nd A bead added in the last repeat of step #17. 

b) To add clasp, pick up 3A, clasp, 3A, go with thread up through the 4th A bead added in this step at (a) and the 1 B bead, step #17. Continue with thread around through the clasp beads several times for strength and then continue up through the 2nd A bead, step #17.

Row 2


 20. Pick up 3A, go with thread down through the 1st A bead, step #19, and the 1 B bead added in the last repeat of step #17. 

21. Pick up 6B, 3C, go with thread forward through the 6th B bead just added in this step.

22. Pick up 5B, go with thread up through the 1 B bead and the 2nd A bead added in the next repeat of step #11 to the left.

23. Pick up 3A, go with thread down through the 1st A bead, step #15 on right, the 1 B bead, step #11, and the 5th, 4th and 3rd B beads, step #22 or step #33.

24. Pick up 4B, go with thread down through the second set of 2 B beads, step #9.  


 25. Pick up 5D, go with thread up through the first set of 2 A beads, step #9. 

26. Pick up 2B, go with thread down through the second set of 2 B beads, step #9, and the 1st D bead, step #25. 


 27. a) Pick up 3D, go with thread right to left through the 3rd D bead, step #25.

 b) Pick up 3D, go with thread up through the 5th D bead, step #25, the first set of 2 B beads, step #9, left to right through the 2 B beads, step #26, down through the second set of 2 B beads, step #9, the 1st D bead, step #25, the 1st and 2nd D beads added in this step at (a).

28. Pick up 5D, go with thread up through the 2nd and 3rd D beads, step #27b, the 5th D bead, step #25, left to right through the 2 D beads, step #9, down through the 1st D bead, step #25, the 1st and 2nd D beads, step #27a, the 1st and 2nd D beads just added in this step.


 29. Pick up 3D, go with thread up through the 4th and 5th D beads, step #28, the 2nd and 3rd D beads, step #27b, the 5th D bead, step #25, and the first set of 2 B beads, step #9.

30. Pick up 7B, go with thread up through the 1B and the 2nd A beads, step #17 repeat to the left.


 31. Pick up 3A, go with thread down through the 1st A bead, step #7 repeat to the right, 1 B bead, step #17, the 1st, 2nd and 3rd B beads, step #30.

32. Pick up 3B, 3C, go with thread forward through the 3rd B bead just added in this step.

33. Pick up 5B, go with thread up through the 1 B and 2nd A beads, added in the next repeat of step #11 to the left. 

34. Continue Row 2 by repeating steps #23 through #33.

35. a) Pick up 4A, go with thread down through the 1st A bead, b step #2, the 1 B and 1st A bead, step #1. 

b) pick up 3A, clasp, 2A, go with thread down through the 1st A bead added in this step at (a), the 1 B and the 1st A bead, step #1. Continue with thread around through the clasp beads several times for strength. Weave the working thread into the necklace and end.

Little Elf Star Illustrations Graph

This little Elf  Pattern is just the graph pattern. This pattern is not written yet. The illustrations are done! If you want to try it without the written part here it is. I am not sure when I will get back to it. But the graph is ready if you want to try it!

If you know how to do peyote you should be able to follow the pattern. You do need to know how to do peyote stitch. Little Elf measures about 1-1/2 inches finished. Please note: this pattern is only free Online.
