Citara Bracelet Pattern

This beautiful bracelet is made with the new Arrow beads. It will make a perfect addition to your wardrobe. Both for dress up and every day casual.

Bead Store
A = Preciosa seed beads “rocailles” 11°, 40* beads

R =
Arrow beads 5 x 8, 6 arrow beads*
C = 2 mm Fire-Polished crystals, #15119001, 18* beads
*Beads counts are per repeat (Unit), each Unit is about 1-1/4 inches.

Nymo D, C-Lon Thread or Fireline (4 or 6 pound), #11 or #12 beading needle

Start by waxing and stretching your thread, use Nymo D or C-Lon & a #11 or #12 beading needle. I used Fireline 6lb. crystal.  Tie in a "stopper" bead, leaving about an 8" tail and begin at step #1.

1. Pick up 1C, 3A, 2C, 2A, go with thread forward through the 1st C, 3 A and 2 C beads just added in this step.

2. Pick up 4A, 1R, 1A, 1R, 1A, 1R, 1A, 1R, 1A, 1R, 1A, 1R, go with thread forward through the 4th A bead and then up through the 3rd, 2nd and 1st A beads (of the 4A) just added in this step.

3. Pick up 1C, go with thread forward through the top hole of the 1st R bead, step #2.

4. Pick up 2C, 3A, go with thread forward through the A bead in step #2, as shown, and up through the 3 A beads just added in this step.

5. Pick up 1C, go with thread forward through the next R bead in step #2.

6. a) Pick up 2C, 3A, go with thread forward through the A bead in step #2, as shown, and up through the 3 A beads just added in this step.
b) Pick up 1C, go with thread forward through the next R bead in step #2.

7. a) Pick up 2C, 3A, go with thread forward through the A bead in step #2, as shown, and up through the 3 A beads just added in this step.
b) Pick up 1C, go with thread forward through the next R bead in step #2.
c) Pick up 2C, 3A, go with thread forward through the A bead in step #2, as shown, and up through the 3 A beads just added in this step.
d) Pick up 1C, go with thread forward through the next R bead in step #2.

8. a) Pick up 2C, 3A, go with thread forward through the A bead in step #2, as shown, and up through the 3 A beads just added in this step.
b) Pick up 1C, go with thread down through the last R bead in step #2 and the 2 C beads, step #1 or step #9.
Continue with working thread by following the blue dotted line in illustration through your bracelet, coming out with thread down through the 1 C bead, step #6b. Please note: you will go through 4 A beads in center circle.

9. Pick up 3A, 2C, go with thread down through the 3rd R bead in step #2, the 1 C bead, step #6b, and forward through all the beads just added in this step.

10. Pick up 4A, 1R, 1A, 1R, 1A, 1R, 1A, 1R, 1A, 1R, 1A, 1R, go with thread forward through the 4th A bead and then up through the 3rd, 2nd and 1st A beads (of the 4A) just added in this step.

11. a) Pick up 1C, go with thread up through the last R bead, step #10.
b) Pick up 2C, 3A, go with thread through the A bead in step #10, as shown, and up through the 3 A beads just added in this step.
c) Pick up 1C, go with thread through the next R bead in step #10.

12. a) Pick up 2C, 3A, go with thread through the A bead in step #10, as shown, and up through the 3 A beads just added in this step.
b) Pick up 1C, go with thread through the next R bead in step #10.
c) Pick up 2C, 3A, go with thread through the A bead in step #10, as shown, and up through the 3 A beads just added in this step.
d) Pick up 1C, go with thread through the next R bead in step #10.
e) Pick up 2C, 3A, go with thread through the A bead in step #10, as shown, and up through the 3 A beads just added in this step.
f) Pick up 1C, go with thread through the next R bead in step #10.

13. a) Pick up 2C, 3A, go with thread through the A bead in step #10, as shown, and up through the 3 A beads just added in this step.
b) Pick up 1C, go with thread up through the 1st R bead in step #10 and the 2 C beads, step #9.
Continue with working thread by following the blue dotted line in illustration through your bracelet, coming out with thread up through the 1 C bead, step #12b. Please note: you will go through 4 A beads in center circle.

14. Pick up 3A, 2C, go with thread up through the 4th R bead in step #10, the 1 C bead, step
#12b, and forward through all the beads just added in this step.

15. Continue by repeating steps #2 through #14 until the bracelet is the length that you would like.
Add clasps of your choice on both ends Continue with thread around through the clasp beads several times for strength. Weave the working thread into the bracelet and end.
