E = 4 x 6 mm Rondelle Chinese crystal Start by waxing and stretching your thread, use Nymo D or C-Lon & a #11 or #12 beading needle. I used Fireline 6lb. crystal. Tie in a "stopper" bead, leaving about an 8" tail and begin at step #1. |

1. Pick up 6A, 1B, 1C, 1B, 5A,
1B, 1D, 3A, 1B, 3A, go with thread up thorough the last B bead just added.

2. a) Pick
up 3A, go with thread down (left to right) through the D bead, step #1.
b) Pick up 1B, 5A, 1B, 1C, 1B, 4A, go with thread up through the 2nd and 1st A beads, step #1. |

3. Pick up 1A, 1B, 1E, 1B, 7A, 1B, go
with thread down through the C bead, step #2b.

4. Pick up 1B, 3A, go with thread up,
left to right and then down with thread, following the blue dotted line
thread path in illustration, coming out with thread won through the 1st and
2nd A beads just added in this step.

5. Pick up 3A, 1B, 1D, 3A, 1B, 3A, go
with thread up thorough the last B bead just added.
|

6. Pick up 3A, go with thread down
(left to right) through the D bead, step #5.
|
7. Pick up 1B, 5A, 1B, 1C, 1B, 4A, go
with thread up through the 3rd and 2nd A beads (of the 7A), step #3.

8. Continue necklace by repeating steps #3 through #7 until it fits. |
9. To add clasp, pick up 3A, clasp, 3A, go with thread up through a couple of seed beads in necklace. Continue with thread around through the clasp beads several times for strength. Weave the working thread into the necklace and end. Repeat the clasp directions in the same manner at the other end of necklace after removing the stopper bead.

These designs are absolutely beautiful! I have never attempted anything like this, however your first piece has very easy instructions. I'm anxious to give this a try! Thank you for sharing your creativity!
