Scalloped Lace Necklace/Bracelet Pattern

This pretty pattern can be made into a necklace or bracelet. It is not too hard to make so you should be able to finish quickly and be wearing it before you know it.  Use 2 colors of seed beads or you can make all in one color too.

A = Miyuki, 11° SEED bead
B = Miyuki, 11° SEED bead
C = 4mm Fire-polished crystals, Bronze

Start by waxing and stretching your thread, use Nymo D or C-Lon & a #11 or #12 beading needle. I used Fireline 6lb. crystal.  Tie in a "stopper" bead, leaving about an 8" tail and begin at step #1.

1. Pick up 1A, 1B, 3A, 1B, go with thread up thorough the 1st A bead just added.
2. Pick up 1A, 3B, 1A, go with thread down through the 1st A and 1st B bead, step #1.
3. Pick up 2B, 5A, 2B, go with thread up through the last B bead and down through the 1st B bead, step #1, and the first 2 B beads just added in this step.
4. Pick up 2B, 9A, 2B, go with thread up through the last 2 B beads, step #3, the last B bead and down through the 1st B bead, step #1, the first 2 B beads, step #3, and down through the first 2 B beads just added in this step.

5. Pick up 15B, go with thread up through the last 2 B beads, step #4, the last 2 B beads, step #3, the last B bead and down through the 1st B bead, step #1, the first 2 B beads, step #3, the first 2 B beads, step #4, and the 1st B bead just added in this step. First Unit complete.
6. Pick up 6B, go with thread down through the 3 B beads as shown and up through the first 3 B beads just added in this step.
7. Pick up 3B, 2A, 2B, 1C, 2B, go with thread down through 2A and 6 B beads as shown in illustration, and up through the first 3 B beads, step #6, and the first 3 B beads and 1st A bead just added in this step.
8. Pick up 1A, 3B, go with thread down through the 2 A beads, step #7.
9. Pick up 1B, 3A, go with thread up through the 3rd A and 2 B beads, step #7, through the 3 B and 1 A bead, step #8, down through the 1st A bead, step #7, and the 1st B bead just added in this step.
10. Pick up 2B, 5A, go with thread up through the 3 B beads, step #7, down through the B bead, step #9, and the 2 B beads just added in this step.
11. Pick up 2B, 9A, go with thread up through the 2nd and 3rd B beads, step #6, the 3 B beads, step #7, down through the 1 B bead, step #9, 2 B beads, step #10, and the 2 B beads just added in this step.
12. Pick up 14B, go with thread up through the 6 B beads on the left side of Unit and down through the 6 B beads on the right side of Unit as shown.

13. Continue necklace by repeating steps #6 through #12 until it fits.

14. To add clasp, pick up 3A, clasp, 3A, go with thread up through 1B, 2A beads in necklace. Continue with thread around through the clasp beads several times for strength. Weave the working thread into the necklace and end. Repeat the clasp directions in the same manner at the other end of necklace after removing the stopper bead.
