Diamanta Necklace Pattern

Bead Store
A = Preciosa seed beads “rocailles” 11/0 or Miyuki 11/0 seed beads°, 60* beads
R = Arrow beads 5 x 8, 8 arrows beads*
C = 4 mm Fire-Polished crystals, 6* beads
D = DiamonDuo 2 hole bead, 4* beads

*Beads counts are per repeat (Unit), each Unit is about 1-1/4 inches.

Nymo D, C-Lon Thread or Fireline (4 or 6 pound), #11 or #12 beading needle
Start by waxing and stretching your thread. Tie in a “stopper” bead, leaving about a 8-10” tail and begin at step #1.

1. Pick up 10A, go with thread forward through the 1st through 6th A beads just added in this step.

2. Pick up 1A, 1R, 1D, 1R, 1A, 1R, 1D, 1R, 1A 1R, 1D, 1R, 5A, go with thread right to left through the bottom holes of the last R bead, the 3rd D bead and the 5th R bead just added in this step.

3. a) Pick up 1C, go with thread right to left through the bottom holes of the 4th R, 2nd D and 3rd R beads, step #2.
b) Pick up 1C, go with thread right to left through the bottom holes of the 2nd R, 1st D and 1st R beads, step #2.
c) Pick up 1A, go with thread up through the 4th, 5th, and 6th A beads, step #1 (first time), or the 1st, 2nd and 3rd A beads, step #7 (every time after) and the 1st A bead, step #2.

4. Pick up 7A, 1C, 1A, go with thread through the 2nd A bead, step #2, and up through the last A bead and the C bead just added in this step.


5. Pick up 7A, 1C, 1A, go with thread through the 3rd A bead, step #2, and up through the last A bead and the C bead just added in this step.

6. Pick up 7A, go with thread down through the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th A beads (of the 5A), step #2.

7. Pick up 7A, go with thread down through the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th A beads (of the 5A), step #2, right to left through the bottom holes of the last R bead, the 3rd D bead and the 5th R bead, step #2, and the 1 C bead, step #3a.

8. Pick up 1C, 1R, 1D, 1R, 4A, go with thread left to right through the bottom holes of the 1 R, 1D and 1 R beads just added in this step.

9. a) Pick up 4A, go with thread right to left through the top holes of the 1 R, 1D and 1 R beads, step #8.

b) Pick up 1C, go with thread right to left through the 1 C bead, step #3b, the bottom holes in the 2nd R, 1st D, and 1st R beads, step #2. Continue with working thread by following the blue dotted line in illustration, coming out with thread up through the 1st, 2nd and 3rd A beads, step #7.


10. Continue by repeating steps #2 through #9 until the necklace is the length that you would like.
Add clasps of your choice on both ends Continue with thread around through the clasp beads several times for strength. Weave the working thread into the necklace and end.

Flora Bracelet Pattern

A = Preciosa seed beads “rocailles” 11°, 60* beads
D = DiamonDuo beads, 5 x 8 mm, 8* beads
R = Arrow beads 5 x 8, 4 arrows* (or you can also use twin beads)
*Beads counts are per repeat (Unit), each Unit is about 1-1/4 inches.

Nymo D, C-Lon Thread or Fireline (4 or 6 pound), #11 or #12 beading needle

Start by waxing and stretching your thread. Tie in a “stopper” bead, leaving about a 8-10” tail and begin at step #1.


1. Pick up 2A.
 
2. Pick up 2A, 1R, 1A, 1D, 5A, 1D, 1A, 1D, 1A, 1D, 1A, 1D, 1A, 1D, 1A, 1D, 1A, 1D, 1A, go with thread forward through the bottom hole of the 1st D bead and the 5th A bead, then up through the 4th and 3rd A beads (of the 5A) just added in this step. *Lay your DiamonDuo beads out on a table before doing this step to make sure they are all facing the correct way.
 
3. a) Pick up 2A, go with thread left to right through the top hole of the next D bead, step #2.
b) Pick up 4A, go with thread left to right through the next A bead in circle center as shown, and up through the 4th and 3rd A beads just added in this step.

4. a) Pick up 2A, go with thread left to right through the top hole of the next D bead, step #2.
b) Pick up 1A, 1R, 4A, go with thread down through the other hole in the R bead just added in this step.
c) Pick up 1A, go with thread left to right through the top hole of the next D bead, step #2.
5. a) Pick up 1A, 1R, 4A, go with thread down through the other hole in the R bead just added in this step.
b) Pick up 1A, go with thread through the top hole of the next D bead, step #2.
c) Pick up 4A, go with thread through the next A bead in circle center as shown, and up through the 4th and 3rd A beads just added in this step.
6. a) Pick up 2A, go with thread right to left through the top hole of the next D bead, step #2.
b) Pick up 4A, go with thread through the next A bead in circle center as shown, and down through the 4th and 3rd A beads just added in this step.
7. Pick up 2A, go with thread right to left through the top hole of the next D bead, step #2.
 
8. Pick up 1A, 1R, 4A, go with thread down through the other hole in the R bead just added in this step.
9. a) Pick up 1A, go with thread left to right through the top hole of the last D bead, step #2.
b) Pick up 1A, go with thread up through the left hole in the R bead, step #2, forward through 2 A beads added in step #1, the 2 A beads, down through the right side hole in the R bead, the next 2 A beads, the D bead, and the 1st and 2nd A beads (of the 5A), step #2 and up through the 2 A beads, step #3a.
 
10. Pick up 3A, go with thread down through the 4A beads, step #3b. Continue with working thread by following the blue dotted line in illustration through your bracelet, coming out with thread down through the 2 A beads, step #6a.
11. Pick up 3A, go with thread up through the 4A beads, step #6b. Continue with working thread by following the blue dotted line in illustration through your bracelet, coming out with thread down through the 4 A beads, step #4b.
12. Pick up 4A, go with thread down through the 3rd and 4th A beads, step #4b, and forward through the 1st, 2nd and 3rd A beads just added in this step..
 
13. Repeat steps #2 through #7.
14. Pick up 1A, 1R, 5A, go with thread down through the 1st and 2nd A beads (of the 4A), step #5a.
15. a) Pick up 1A, go with thread up through the 3rd and 4th A beads and left to right through the empty hole in the R bead, step #14,.
b) Pick up 1A, go with thread left to right through the top hole of the last D bead, step #2.
c) Pick up 1A, go with thread up through the left hole in the R bead, step #2, forward through 2 A beads, step #12, as shown, the 2 A beads, down through the right side hole in the R bead and the next 1 A, D bead and 1st and 2nd A beads (of the 5A) step #2 and up through the 2 A beads, step #3a.
 
16. Repeat steps #10 and #11 in the same manner. 

17. Continue by repeating steps #12 through #16 until the bracelet is the length that you would like.
Add clasps of your choice on both ends Continue with thread around through the clasp beads several times for strength. Weave the working thread into the bracelet and end.


 Here is a picture of the bracelet made with twin beads.
