-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Start by waxing and stretching your thread. Use Fireline*, Nymo D or C-Lon and an #11 or #12 beading needle. Tie in a “stopper” bead, leaving about a 8-10” tail and begin at step #1. *I have recently started using Fireline® fishing line, too. I like 4lb and 6lb Crystal for bead weaving.
1. Pick up 3A, 3B, 3A, 1B, go with thread forward through the 3 A, 3 B and 3 A beads just added in this step. |
2. Pick
up 2A, 1B, 1C, 2B, go with thread up through the 1 C bead just added in this
step. Stack the 2 B beads next to each other as shown in the illustration.
3. Pick
up 1B, go with thread down through the 1st B, 1 C and 2nd B beads, step #2.
4. Pick
up 1B, go with thread up through the 3rd B, 1 C beads, step #2, and up
through the 1 B bead, step #3.
5. Pick
up 7A, go with thread down through the 3rd B bead, step #2, right to left
through the 1 B bead, step #4, and up through the 2nd B bead, step #2.
6. Pick
up 2A, go with thread up through the 2nd set of 3 A beads, step #1 (first
time) or the 3 A beads, step #9 (every time after), down through the 2 A and
1st B beads, step #2, up through the 1 B bead, step #3, and forward through
the 7 A beads, step #5.
7. Pick up 4A, go with working thread and follow the blue dotted line in illustration around through the outside beads as shown and down through the 1st and 2nd A beads just added in this step.
Please note: The beads added in this step sit behind
the B bead added at step #4.
8. Pick
up 1A, go with working thread and follow the blue dotted line in illustration
around through the outside beads as shown, coming out with thread down
through the 5th A bead, step #5.
9. Pick up 3B, 3A, 1B, go with thread down through the 3rd, 4th and 5th A
beads, step #5, and forward through the 3 B and 3 A beads just added in this
step.
10. Continue by repeating steps #2 through #9 until the bracelet is the length that you would like.

What size C lon do you use, and is this something a beginner could do having never done a bead pattern before? I crochet and knit with beads and make leather wraps but have never "sewn" with beads..
Oh my, this is just great. The pattern also was displayed enough that I can understand. hahah I've got to get busy, since the only thing not "Norwegian-proof" about this is my own application of time and energy. Having a Swedish father and Norwegian mother, I need things Norwegian-proof and able to be done pretty-good for a Swede. I won't tell Ole and Sven jokes, but if I can't laugh at myself and my relatives than I can't laugh at all.
